Our Process

We begin with whole, non-GMO soybeans. After they are grown and harvested, the soybeans are dried and milled into flour. The soy flour is then blended with water, cooked, formed into our signature jerky pieces, and dried to create the foundation for their satisfying chew.

Next, the jerky is soaked in a carefully prepared blend of wet and dry seasonings so every piece absorbs its distinctive flavor. It is then placed on baking sheets and oven-finished to remove excess moisture and develop the hearty texture people expect from jerky.

Once cooled, The Smarter Jerky™ is packaged and ready for you to snack, top, or cook.

Each Texas-inspired flavor is seasoned for a distinctive taste, with protein, 8 grams of fiber, and 0 milligrams of cholesterol in every bag. The result is a smarter everyday snack that is ready to snack, top, or cook.
