What makes Jalapeño Barbecue different?
Jalapeño Barbecue is our boldest and spiciest jerky flavor yet. It combines sweet, smoky barbecue flavor with a noticeable jalapeño kick and is the first flavor introduced in our new The Smarter Jerky™ packaging. It is also made with olive oil and contains approximately 50% less sodium than our previous jerky formulation.
How spicy is Jalapeño Barbecue?
Jalapeño Barbecue is the spiciest flavor All Y'alls Foods has created, but it is designed to deliver flavor rather than overwhelming heat. The sweetness and smokiness of the barbecue balance the jalapeño, creating a bold, building kick that spicy-snack fans can still enjoy by the handful.
How much protein and fiber does it contain?
Each 2.69-ounce bag of Jalapeño Barbecue contains 15 grams of plant protein and 8 grams of fiber. It also contains 0 mg of cholesterol and only about 400 mg of sodium per bag.
What is it made from?
Jalapeño Barbecue is made from whole non-GMO soybeans rather than highly processed soy protein isolates. It is seasoned with sweet and smoky barbecue spices, jalapeño, and other flavorful ingredients, and is made with olive oil. The result is a shelf-stable plant protein snack with a satisfying jerky-style chew.
Where can customers buy it?
Customers can purchase Jalapeño Barbecue directly from AllYallsFoods.com. It will also become available through Amazon and select retail and online partners as distribution expands. Product availability may vary by location and retailer.
Will the other flavors also move to olive oil and lower sodium?
Yes. Jalapeño Barbecue is the first All Y'alls Foods jerky flavor made with olive oil and our new lower-sodium approach. We plan to transition the other core jerky flavors to olive oil and improved sodium levels as their updated formulations and packaging are introduced.
